"I was born to be real, not perfect"

Shian Veronica Jane

Hello there!

Well, if you reached here it means that you like my work and you are thinking of working with me. Sounds amazing! But we need to make sure that we are on the same page and can work in harmony. That's why there are a few things you should know before booking me for your big day.

DO NOT BOOK ME IF:

1- You are looking for most of your photos being posed. While I do a few posed photos at every wedding (such as group portraits), most of your gallery will be candid, natural shots. I like telling the story I see, not one I create.

2- You require body shape editing. My photos are all professionally edited (cropping, correcting lighting and colour) but I do not make changes to the bodies. There are certain things that I could amend (like an unusual spot on your face, a small burn mark or anything that you wouldn't normally have) but I do believe every body is beautiful and I don't like the idea of hiding a belly, reducing an arm shape or deleting a double chin when you are laughing a lot when having a great time.

3- You want a photographer that will be hiding and quiet at your wedding. I am not. I like to help, I like to have a good time while working. I will be available for you and anyone at your wedding when you need an extra pair of hands.

4- You don't give value to art prints. In all of my collections, you will get a variety of albums for your memory. I believe this is so important and priceless that I include it in every single collection.

5- You don't like the idea of meeting me before your wedding day. I include a pre wedding photoshoot in all of my collections (unless you prefer some prints instead!) We need to sit down, have a coffee and talk about your wedding day. I want to get to know you and I want you to get to know me. I want you to feel comfortable with me being at your wedding and being a part of it. More than happy for you to bring any kids/family to this. That's your choice. Where possible, we would also have a look at the venue together and organise our day. And finally, the fun bit! Take a few photographs for us to get used to each other and for you to be comfortable in front of the camera. Believe me, you will feel at ease and won't want to stop!
